We were personally present from foundation to completion. The tradesmen employed were of high calibre, friendly and professional.
We would recommend this Company and will have no hesitation to employ them to build again for us.

In January 2007, we finally decided to build a new house on the section we had owned for the past two years.
Being first time builders we spent a lot of time looking at numerous show homes, getting ideas and inspiration for our own home, we felt very naïve about the whole building process.
We visited the Housing Specialist show home in Rolleston and were very impressed with Allan our sales consultant, he took us through the planning stage and worked out exactly what we wanted. He was very helpful and gave us the option of using their in-house designer/ architect who went through our wish list and the layout we wanted. We found this very easy and had a plan drawn up in a matter of weeks.
The Housing Specialist submitted everything to the Council and within six months we had the first pegs in the ground and our house was completed in the specified time frame.
With every house there are changes that will come along, we felt the Housing Specialist managed these changes extremely well and we managed to stay within our budget.
The project management was excellent, we were kept up to date with the progress every week and any concerns were rectified immediately.
Everyone told us that building was a very stressful time, but we certainly didn’t find that. We found dealing with the Housing Specialist, their builders, sub contractors and staff to be a great experience. We would have no hesitation in recommending them for anyone planning to go through the building process.

To James and the Team at The Housing Specialist,
Garry and I would like to thank you all for making our build with your company such a smooth and enjoyable time.
We found the communication especially good between Aaron and James and ourselves, keeping us updated weekly on the progress with the house. We have many friends that have also built recently that have not had any contact and been frustrated with lack of communication from their builders.
Most of all we would like to thank Derek and Daniel Huggins our builders for the professional job they did and their (nothings a problem) approach made our special requests easy. Garry is a carpenter by trade and he states he couldn't have built it better himself.
We have had many people admire our home to which we have been more than happy to recommend The Housing Specialist to build with.

Dear James,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and you Team at Housing Specialist for the wonderful home we now have at Rolleston.
Our appreciation goes to you and your team for the outstanding customer service that was provided at all times from the initial planning through to the final construction of our home. One of the pleasing things for us, was being able to have access to view progress of the building at all times and whenever we wanted to discuss anything, whether it be with yourself, our Project Manager, Aaron or Heather & Glenys in the office there was always someone there to assist in what ever way they could. There was always the focus and dedication of the Team to ensure things were right for us and if it wasn't right it was put right.
It is qualities and customer service like this that puts your Team and Housing Specialist at a level that we can only say is of a very high standard, one of which you and the Team can all be proud of.
